The OS62 utilizes two of our patented technologies, the Synergy Horn and Paraline Technology, combined into a very compact package to deliver crystal clear audio at very high output levels and cover audiences at extremely long distances.
The mid and high frequencies are delivered via a Neodymium ring-radiator coaxial compression driver (1.4” exit/4.0” voice coil & 1.0” exit/2.5” voice coil) paired with our Paraline Technology. As with all of our patented Synergy Horns the low frequencies share the same horn as the mid and high frequency driver and feature 4 x 8” Neodymium, high output low frequency transducers. The extremely compact Synergy Horn offers a uniform 60° x 20° coverage pattern.
This three-way powerhouse is delivered via a single amplifier channel thanks to our robust Synergy crossovers, this allows for proper phase alignment between frequency bands, permitting the physically separated bands to combine and emerge from the horn as a single source, greatly reducing off axis distortions in frequency response and allowing for greater clarity at long distances. As an added layer of protection we include our Sentinel™ high frequency driver protection circuitry which is a multistage limiter that protects the high frequency driver in the event of overloads (peaks or long term). It is inaudible during normal operation, so dynamic range is not compromised. Utilizing our DNA and D Series amplifiers or processor allows for maximum performance and protection with industry leading DSP capabilities.
The OS62 is manufactured from a thermo-molded poly-composite and features a two stage stainless grille with hydrophobic screen to give it an IP55 rating. Also included is a heavy-duty aluminum mounting bracket and angle strap for secure indoor and outdoor installations.
